The authors have provided valuable perspectives that are helpful to every professional, from entry level to top level executives. I started reading my friend's chapter first, chapter 18. Great writing. I then moved to the beginning of the book, and could not put it down. This is a book geared toward all people, men, women, children, etc. I'm a slow reader, this was easy to follow and understand. I appreciated my friend Margaret for recommending this book to me. I share a lot of the ideas, but sometime we need a pick me up to get back on track. The young African American male is our future, I have already put this on a gift list and recommended topics for youth discussions.

This book is dedicated to President Obama for inspiring young African American males to "reach for the stars" and for showing them that it is possible for them to achieve greatness. The subject areas are pertinent to the world we live in. This book is inspiring, encouraging, and written by experts in their fields. I think this book should be read by anyone working with or raising boys. I think all school, public and college libraries should add this book to their collections.
