Margaret Ann Staton, Owner/CEO, CONSULTANTS UNLIMITED, LLC, is a North Carolina native who accepted a corporate transfer to Georgia in 1992. Her vision to become a business owner has now materialized in the first phase of her company, the “motivationalbookstore.com” Division.
Ms. Staton has always had the desire to become an executive and has worked in the Telecommunications’ Industry for over twenty years in several states, i.e., North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Colorado.
She holds a Master's of Science Degree in Technology Management from Mercer University, Atlanta, Georgia. She enjoys being involved in Community Service Projects and has participated in the United Way Campaigns, March of Dimes, Heart to Heart Breast Cancer 5K Run Walk. Margaret loves to travel, a good movie, BBQ, sports, fine dinning and walks in the park.
Margaret is currently serving in a leadership capacity in the New Birth Student Ministries Department at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Lithonia, Georgia; and was honored for her Outstanding Service to the success of the “I Make the Difference” Program in the Charlotte District, served on the Board of Directors for the South DeKalb Church Federal Credit Union, and was a Driver for the German
Delegation during the 1996 Olympics. She was recently recognized in CROSSROADS, The Magazine of Belmont Abbey College - Spring 2011, (Class Notes). On the political scene, Margaret Ann Staton also organized and hosted a 50th Birthday Party Celebration, “Obama For America” Grass Roots Event for the President of the United States of America, President Barack Obama, August 3, 2011, in Decatur, Georgia.
Margaret Ann was a Driver/Canvasser for Obama for America via The North Carolina Democratic Party for Mecklenburg County during the 2012 Presidential Election's early voting period in Charlotte, NC. She volunteered her services in Union County, NC (Indian Trail) Organizing for America Headquarters and Atlanta, Georgia's Midtown Team. Additionally, Margaret was among the Top 100 Callers, while serving as a member of The National Call Team, also dedicated to the re-election efforts for President Barack Obama.
Margaret Ann Staton, one of the co-authors in the book, "Raising African American Boys" and the newly released "Life is an Attitude. The Power of Positive Living", (March 28, 2011) is also a member of the Professional Woman Network (PWN) and the Carter Center Toastmasters International 2011. Her educational scope is very broad and includes the following Universities, Colleges and Schools:
